The Arapahoe location (original sportsbook)
The Sportsbook Bar & Grill was established by Jeremy Malone and Judson Dymond in December of 2012. After years of wanting to open their own sports bar concept, the cards fell into place after securing a loan from their respected parents and the first spot on Arapahoe was up for sale. The boys would work behind the bar, and manage the floor, liquor orders, food orders, and all the in betweens of the daily grind. A remodel happened in the summer of 2014 and there faithful bartender John Porter came back from San Diego to help out. The bar picked up its legs after a few years of struggling, when focus was on service, a good menu, and having every sport you can think of. The Sportsbook Dream had been realized.
The Highlands Ranch Location
After somewhat mastering how a sports bar is run, the three boys set their sights on a south location. Highlands Ranch had been on their minds ever since they all left a local bar in 2012. That local bar is also where the 3some met each other. So, they were eager to return to their roots. With the new location came a bigger challenge: having an open floor plan, so they could place the bar and audio/visual equipment where they wanted. They decided on having a giant LED wall and a complete overhaul of the bar. The beautiful open floor has an industrial feel, with antique barnwood and gas pipe shelves. Logic integration provided the audio/visual work, as well as the only LED wall in Highlands Ranch. The community of Highlands Ranch has supported the boys in the new venture, and as always, we strive to be the best sports bar in the game.
